WILDLIFE HABITAT INSTALLATION
We build the plan.
Whether the plan comes from Holmstead Outdoor Services or your own experience, we can bring it to life with food plots, trails, screening, water sources, clearing, and the access needed to reach and maintain it all.
What to expect from a wildlife habitat installation
01
Send the plan, or book a consultation
If you have something written, send it over. If you don't, book a consultation first.
02
Site visit
We look at access, what equipment can reach where, and what the plan will actually take to build.
03
Written quote
Project by project, itemized. If the whole plan is more than you want to take on this year, we'll help you prioritize.
04
Scheduling
Habitat work is seasonal. We'll set a realistic date, one that will work for you and the property.

Wildlife habitat installation capabilities

What to know about a wildlife habitat installation project
Do I have to book a property consultation first?
No. If you have a plan you're happy with, from anyone, we'll quote off what's on the plan.
What time of year does the wildlife habitat installation work happen?
In Connecticut, install projects typically run March-July. Each job is scheduled on a case by case basis.
Do you plant or maintain plots after they go in, or just install them?
HOS only provides a seed ready surface. It is up to the landowner to plant and maintain the plot after install and year to year.
